Press Release: mus-e | 2025. November 20.

On November 18, the Shared Identities team met at the Eötvös10 Cultural Center in Budapest to develop the project’s content and activities during the initiative’s first six months, focusing on the participating children from Hungary, Spain, Germany, and Portugal. This working session is part of the Erasmus+ project coordinated by MUS-E Hungary, in collaboration with MUS-E Germany, the Associação Yehudi Menuhin Portugal (AYMP), and the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (Fuhin Spain).

During the morning, the teachers selected the classes that will participate in the school exchanges during the first six months of the project, the artistic disciplines to be explored at each school, and the final projects that will be exchanged between them. This first semester is linked to the theme “My Roots and Traditions,” which invites students to explore their own family and cultural origins and share them with the rest of the group through the arts.

In the afternoon, the group visited the House of Music Hungary and the exhibition “Dimensions of Sound: A Musical Journey Through Space and Time,” an exhibition that offered new perspectives on sound and music as languages for exploring shared identities. With this planning and reflection meeting, the consortium concludes the initial design phase and prepares to meet again in Évora in April 2026 to continue advancing the project’s development.
